The floor is all yours, dear readers …. after the jump:

But first: Top Comments appears nightly, as a round-up of the best comments on Daily Kos. Surely ... you come across comments daily that are perceptive, apropos and .. well, perhaps even humorous. But they are more meaningful if they're well-known ... which is where you come in (especially in diaries/stories receiving little attention).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Send your nominations to TopComments at gmail dot com by 9:30 PM Eastern Time nightly, or by our KosMail message board. Please indicate (a) why you liked the comment, and (b) your Dkos user name (to properly credit you) as well as a link to the comment itself.

Much has been made (and rightly so) of this occurrence:

This hasn’t happened for 30+ years that all three religions celebrate significant events over the same time pic.twitter.com/JXvaCBEzAJ

Yet not completely …. as the Eastern Orthodox churches celebrate Easter next weekend (as is often the case, annually).

Perhaps someday, though, that may change. There's a proposal first put forward by the leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Egypt — and which has been supported by Pope Francis, the Archbishop of Canterbury (and others) to choose a fixed day for Easter ... side-stepping the Gregorian vs. Julian calendar difference — so all Christians celebrate on the same day. If this happens, it will take years to get buy-in — with the 3rd Sunday in April the leading choice — but if it does, it will also please schedule-makers around the world.

Whether you do (or do not) celebrate anything this weekend — this is the most spiritual tune that I know of. An instrumental written by Duke Pearson and recorded in 1963 by the trumpeter Donald Byrd ... this instrumental was performed at the funeral of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Now, on to Top Comments:

From RosyFinch:

In the diary by jqjacobs inquiring about Co-Conspirator-1… regardless of who it is, I liked this thread begun by Spancos because I think we need to applaud our heroes.

From CMYukon:

In the diary by SemDem about the Tucker Swanson Carlson video everyone’s talking about (so I don't have to) — this comment made by GreyHawk.

From Angela Marx:

In the aforementioned diary about Tuck — UGH ... but the comment by candid psychiatrist is GREAT! — every time I read it I can't help but chuckle at the apropos use of a certain word.

From ZenTrainer:

In the diary by Meteor Blades about fossil fuel leases— I have a submission here made by Assaf which I hope works.

And from Ed Tracey, your faithful correspondent this evening ........

In the diary by CoCo Pazzo about the enterprising Mr. Cawthorn from the Tar Heel State — lapscorer makes some observations about how local law enforcement can’t look-the-other-way on his motoring skills.

Next - enjoy jotter's wonderful (and now eternal) *PictureQuilt™* below. Just click on the picture and it will magically take you to the comment featuring that photo.

(NOTE: Any missing images in the Quilt were removed because (a) they were from an unapproved source that somehow snuck through in the comments, or (b) it was an image from the DailyKos Image Library which didn't have permissions set to allow others to use it.)

And lastly: yesterday's Top Mojo - mega-mojo to the intrepid mik ...... who rescued this feature from oblivion:
