FRIDAY's CHILDREN are named Mau and Lua the Cats — adopted by a Danish couple who lived in the US for several years (and loved domestic shorthair black cats) … but had returned to Denmark, where domestic shorthairs do not exist. So they arranged for an adoption from nearly 5,000 miles away.

Part One focused on Who, then Part Two focused on What, followed by Part Three which looked at Why, and lastly Part Four, which looked at Where, of course.

This is the very mellow, contemplative Goodbye, December from bluesman John Mayall - whom I saw give a standout show three years ago at age 79 (and who is now 82). This tune, though, comes from his 1971 Back to the Roots album (featuring many of his former star musicians). This tune showcases Eric Clapton (as well as long-time Canned Heat bassist Larry Taylor).
